Among all the world's religions, “Din-e-Islam” stands out as the only faith that prioritizes the improvement of society. It has consistently advocated for the establishment and enforcement of systems that safeguard both human and social values. These initiatives are essential for a society and a nation to uphold an Islamic way of life. Currently, our social fabric is grappling with a significant challenge known as corruption, particularly in the form of bribery. This issue has increasingly become an inescapable aspect of our society. As a result of this affliction, those who are deserving are often denied their rights, the voices of the oppressed go unheard, and peace and justice remain elusive for the populace. This grave issue has led to a disintegration of the entire system, with various sectors of society entangled in different forms of corruption. Therefore, if we aspire to improve our society, it is imperative that we eliminate this detrimental curse. In this article, we will explore the causes of corruption and its effects on our society through the lens of Islamic teachings, aiming to awaken a sense of national responsibility and stabilize Pakistan's economy. However, to eradicate this pervasive evil, every individual, class, and institution within Pakistani society must actively contribute to this vital effort.
