Revival of Respect for Humanity and Solutions to Contemporary Challenges in the Light of Islamic Teachings

Abstract

Allah Almighty has elevated man to the highest position among the noblest of creations. He has enlightened his chest with knowledge and consciousness and elevated him to the position of Caliphate. He has adorned his character with the qualities of love, sweetness, intelligence, wisdom, selflessness and sacrifice. He has declared human life as sacred and has obligated all creatures to respect it. Respect and honor for humanity is the basic need of the present era. In the present era, humanity is facing challenges such as class division, social inequality, racism, political interests, and global human rights violations. In the modern era, love and human compassion have been replaced by hatred and indifference. Respect for humanity has always been given priority in Islamic teachings. To meet the challenges of the present era and to revive respect for humanity, it is essential to implement the teachings of Islam on human equality and human unity, rejecting differences of color, race, religion, and nationality.
