Abstract

This research explores key Jewish figures and their behaviour during Muhammad's (PBUH) pre-prophetic era through the lens of "Al-Isabah fi Tamyiz al-Sahabah," a renowned work by Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani. The study delves into the sociopolitical and religious dynamics of the time, analyzing the roles and actions of prominent Jewish personalities in Arabian society. By examining their interactions with other communities and their ethical and cultural practices, the research sheds light on the pre-Islamic era's broader historical and ideological landscape.

The research explores their alliances, conflicts, and interactions with the Arab tribes, shedding light on their strategic decisions and cultural practices. By examining these dynamics, this study provides deeper insights into the complexities of interfaith relations, power structures, and the pivotal role these tribes played in shaping the historical and religious landscape of pre-Islamic and early Islamic Arabia. The findings provide a nuanced understanding of Jewish influence and its implications during the early stages of Islamic history.
