The Qura'ānic Journeys from The Era of Ibrahim علیہ السلام To the Era of Muhammad ﷺ And Their Role in The Life of The Individual and Society in Light of Selected Interpretations (Analytical Study)

Abstract

The Quran accords significant importance to the lives and journeys of the prophets. Every aspect of their lives serves as a source of guidance and advice. A careful study of the Quranic verses related to these journeys reveals that they are replete with wisdom and lessons.The Quran presents various forms and stages of the journeys of all the prophets, including the Prophet Muhammad, in different ways, encompassing events such as preachings, migration, battles, and other significant occasions.This research aims to conduct an analytical study of the journeys of the prophets, from the duration of Ibraheem(عليه السلام) to the Prophet Muhammadﷺ, in light of the Quranic verses. The objective is to understand the wisdom behind these journeys and the lessons derived from them, thereby providing guidance to Muslims based on these verses.Travel has held a prominent position in the lives of all the prophets, including the Prophet Muhammadﷺ. Events such as the migration to Medina, participation in battles, traveling to different regions for the propagation of Islam, and the miraculous night journey (Isra and Miraj) highlight the centrality of travel. These incidents are mentioned in various parts of the Quran, and through them, Muslims are taught patience, perseverance, and the pursuit of Allah's pleasure.
