الجناس في ديوان ايليا أبي ماضي
Alliteration in the collection of Elia Abi Madi
Abstract
Speech is one of the distinguishing theoretical arts for humans. With it, Allah Almighty has distinguished man from all other creatures, for he is the one who gives sciences their status, shows their centers and explains their forms. Eloquence of speech is considered to be the conformity of the speech to the requirements of the situation along with its eloquence. Critics, writers, and writers began trying to understand the secrets of this science and develop concise and specific principles that define their views on the aesthetics of style. Rhetoric is, when the writer makes an article for every position and every situation a requirement, and he summarizes it in a best way. Among the nations that were the most eloquent was the Arab nation, which was famous for its eloquence and rhetoric. The poet and the orator had exalted status in the tribe. Among them is Elia Abu Madi, the poet of emigrant literature and the poet of eloquence at the present era. I chose alliteration in his poetry collection to research one type of rhetoric. The research is based on the introduction, a summary of the poet’s life, evidence of alliteration from the poet’s collection, and an index of sources and references.
