Abstract

The Quran is a comprehensive book that encompasses fundamental discussions of contemporary sciences. It not only serves as a code of life but also as a collection of various sciences and arts. The Quran extensively describes natural phenomena and provides arguments for the oneness of Allah in various ways, including the detailed mention of animals such as camels, donkeys, elephants, ants, crows, hoopoes, fish, goats, bees, spiders, horses, etc. The Quran’s depiction of zoology is so vast that even today’s advanced scientific tools are unable to fully comprehend it. For instance, the Quran mentions the ant during the time of Prophet Solomon, highlighting that ants can hear sounds from miles away and communicate messages to other ants, indicating their hearing and speaking capabilities. Modern science has yet to produce any significant advancement that confirms ants’ ability to speak and hear as described in the Quran. This article will also discuss various birds mentioned in the Quran and the relationship between zoology and the Quran. Allah’s final message to humanity, preserved in the Quran until the Day of Judgment, contains knowledge of all truths that will unfold until the end of time. Science and technology have made significant progress today, all of which are indebted to the Quran. Whether it is a contemporary or ancient science, there is nothing in the universe that has not been mentioned in some way in the Quran. Science, which is based on observation and experimentation, has a strong and connected relationship with the Quran, aiding scientific research. Zoology, a branch of science, holds significant importance in the scientific world, and numerous Quranic verses testify to it.
