Education and Training of Women in the Contemporary Education System and Guidance from the Prophet's Seerah: An Analytical Study

Abstract

Education is such a wealth that not only enriches the person with knowledge, but because of his knowledge, a society and every individual of the nation also becomes blessed. People equipped with education and training can lead a society and the culture and conditions of a society on the path of peace and prosperity in a very short time. Because of education, a person takes care of other people's dignity, wealth, comfort, and comfort and treats others with love and respect. They were given the right to acquire knowledge, but it was made obligatory for them to acquire the necessary knowledge like men. The records of history bear witness to the fact that the Messenger of Allah not only allowed women to be educated, but also demonstrated it in practice. The Prophet (PBUH) also appointed female teachers like male teachers to educate women. Therefore, there is a dire need for women's education and training even today.  In this era of technology, education of women along with training is essential because if there is no training then education alone does not provide the expected comfort in life. Therefore, it is necessary to take guidance from the life of the Prophet in the education and training of women. By keeping the biography of the Prophet ﷺ in front of us, we can adorn women with both modern and religious sciences.

In this article, an attempt has been made to take guidance from the seerah of the Prophet (PBUH) regarding the education and training of women in the contemporary education system.
