Abstract

The Qur’an is the last inspired book revealed by Almighty Allah to the Holy Prophet ﷺ. The Creator of the universe has made this book the most prestigious in terms of knowledge, sweet in terms of poetry, and eloquent in terms of interpretation and interpretation. It has been considered more beautiful and valuable and revealed it gradually through the mediation of Jibraeel Amin to make mankind aware of the conditions of the previous Ummah which are hidden from sight and to convey information about the hidden things of the heavens and the earth. Also, from this book of Larib, principles and branches of Sharia sciences, Arabic sciences, its various genres and literary arts should be extracted.

Among the Muslim jurists who have particularly influenced the modern Islamic intellectual evolution, Imam Abu Ishaq Ibrahim bin Musa bin Muhammad al-Lakhmi al-Shatabi, the Maliki jurist of Andalus, is very prominent. His legal thought has played a fundamental role in the formation of the modern concept of Islamic law. During the time of Imam Shatbi, many important social changes were emerging. Maliki jurisprudence, which had been staticized by traditionalist jurists, was incapable of guidance in these circumstances.

Ijtihad keeps the religion of Islam fresh and enables Islamic Shari'ah to solve new problems. Ijtihad is the main means of obtaining what God Almighty wants from His creation and guiding the person from his selfish desires to the guidance of mercy and Shariah goals and making him an optional servant of Allah.
