This comprehensive study critically examined the phenomenon of ellipsis and omission in the Holy Quran, specifically through the interpretation titled "Baṣā’ir dhawī al-tamyīz fī laṭā’if al-Kitāb al-‘Azīz"by Fayruzabadi. Employing a rigorous rhetorical and semantic analysis, the research adopted a descriptive and analytical approach. The inquiry commenced by meticulously delineating the scholarly character of Fayruzabadi. Subsequently, it delved deeply into the intricate concepts of ellipsis and omission, elucidating their linguistic and terminological definitions within the framework of both grammatical and rhetorical traditions. The study then meticulously explored the profound significance that ellipsis and omission hold in Fayruzabadi's interpretation, conducting a meticulous examination of Quranic verses from a rhetorical perspective. This exploration confirmed the exceptional and awe-inspiring nature of the Holy Quran, underscoring the meticulous choice of words and their multifaceted meanings. Furthermore, the research scrutinized instances where a letter is omitted from a specific word or its connected word.
