Abstract

This research includes method of umdat-AL-Jawahir wa Durar yani muqaddamat Al Quran wa Rawabit us suwar by sheikh Abdul latif and its style. In which he first mentions the basic meaning and the conventionality of the Method and then he divides it into two parts.

The first part the Author explain muqaddamat ul Quran and in the second part, the method of Rawabit us suwar is elaborated.

The first part includes ten sub section

  1. Mention the Title
  2. Mention the principal of Titles
  3. Not mentioning the beginning of Titles
  4. Attribution of Qur'anic verses are among the examples
  5. Attribution of Qur'anic verses are among the non-examples
  6. Mention of Hadiths in the Muqaddamat Al Quran
  7. Mention of poetry in the manuscript
  8. Mentioning the basic meaning of words
  9. Dictation Rules
  10. Writing Qur'anic verses in Uthmani script based on Rewayat Hafs

The Second part includes six sub sections.

  1. Titles of all surah of the Quran
  2. Attribution of the Qur'anic verses
  3. Mentioning the Hadiths in the Rawabit us suwar
  4. Mentioning the poetry in the manuscript
  5. Mentioning the basic meaning of the word
  6. Dictation Rules
