This paper aims to study the Sufi dimension of the Sirah-Writings in the sermons of Ibrahim Jan Mujadidi- a leading Naqshbadi Sufi of the Khankah Shor Bazar, Kabul- who played a significant role in the anti-Soviet Afghan resistance and jihadi movement. Ibrahim Jan attempted to highlight the spiritual aspects of the Sirah. By doing so, he gathered the support of masses because of their sentimental and devotional attachment with Sirah of the Prophet and Sufism. This paper explores how he amalgamated spirituality and practical life of the Prophet in order to set up a jihadi movement in Afghanistan. This study concludes that Ibrahim Mujadidi successfully presented significant themes of Sirah in the Sufi perceptive. It has be tried to consult original sources both in Pashtu and Persian for this research.
