Mufti Kifayatullah Sahib Dehlavi is an important figure of the 20th century in terms of knowledge, research, and political insight. He was a commentator, muhadith, jurist, writer, poet, politician, and grand mufti of India, he was a pioneer in the establishment of Jamiat Ulema Hind and also held the post of president. He maintained the spirit of frankness in his domestic life and he used to face the mountain of hardships and sufferings But he lit the candles of faith even in the darkness of his domestic life and used to fight against the storms. He used to read scholarly books like Hafiz reciting the Quran. He was a man of modesty.
