Remedying the contemporary fitnah of 'sectarianism' in the context of the Quran and Sunnah

One of the significant challenges in the present age is sectarianism, which has rendered the abilities and potential of the Muslim Ummah ineffective. Despite the unprecedented numerical strength and material resources available to Muslims today, the community appears fragmented rather than unified, making prospects for future unity seem bleak. This issue isn't new, as historical divisions based on politics, tribal affiliations, ethnicity, language, nationality, and class have plagued the Ummah.
The most alarming and detrimental division within the Ummah today stems from differences in interpretations of Islam. This division has even escalated to violence, enmity, and, distressingly, murders between opposing sects. Consequently, the Ummah is not only grappling with internal strife but also facing external threats from nations seeking to assimilate or eliminate Muslims. Immorality has permeated various aspects of our culture and society. Governments themselves are contributing to the erosion of Islamic values, shortening lifespans and promoting atheism. Additionally, Western education and civilization have led to a steady march towards materialism. Each year, there are reports of conversions from Islam to Christianity, Qadianism, and even Hinduism due to missionary activities. Secular-minded individuals and liberals of the modern era are sowing seeds of doubt about religion on a mass scale. Apart from them, certain hypocritical groups, such as those who reject Hadiths, are actively undermining the foundations of Islam."
