Role of Ulma and Madras-e- Jhang in Tehrek Tahafauzz Namoos-e-Risalat

Abstract

The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) is the blessing for the whole mankind. He is the personality, ever respected and honored by the human beings in their specific ages .Every Nabi and Rasool announced his (peace be upon him) great character, signs of Nabowat,  dignity and love of Allah Almighty towards him.The entire body of religious and social of Islam rests a deep rooted love for the personality of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him). So, he must be treated, respected and followed extra-ordinary. This necessitates that   the honor and dignity of the prophet of Islam must be protected at all costs and no effort to put his sublime personality into dispute or disrespect should be tolerated. Anymore to revile has sacred name or to insult his beloved conduct is considered High Treason. That is why, from the days of the first caliph up to our own times, it has almost unanimously been held by the Muslims that any blasphemous act or utterance towards the prophet of Islam (peace be upon him) is liable to capital punishment .People were punished and sentenced to death after the act of blasphemous during the period of the Holy Prophet. The Holy Prophet himself sent his flowers to kill the person who tortured and abused him .There was no doubt about the punishment of any blasphemous act.

In this article, the role of Ulma-e- Jhang in Tehrik Tahaffiz-e-Namoos-Risalat has been discussed. Ulma-e- Jhang fear from Allah Almighty and love his Rasool (peace be upon him) from the very core of their hearts .As, it is the key belief of Muslims, and they took it very serious. They took part in every meeting, procession and strike with great valor and passion. They condemn act of blasphemous at every plate form. Ulma inform, teach, guide and motivate about the importance of Namoos-e-Risalat. This movement is required to flourish throughout the world because it is the question of discouraging and hurting Million’s of people, not a freedom of expression. It is the duty of a common Muslim as well as the preacher of Islam to be ready to face such type of challenges untidily.
