An Introduction to Dramatic Poetry in Arabic literature

Abstract

The Dramatic Poetry is an ancient literary art, and it is one of the oldest and most ancient arts in history, as its beginning dates back to twenty-five centuries ago, and its construction was completed by the Greeks,  but it lacked the elements of theatrical art according to what critics and researchers have recognized in this regard, and in defining the dramatic poetry. This article presents a complete picture and introduction  of the dramatic poetry in Arabic literature. The descriptive and analytical method is used in this research.
