Intertextuality, Origins and the developments of the concept

Abstract

Intertextuality as a tern was first used in Julia Kristeva,s “world, Dialogue and Novel” in 1966. The analysis of the concept of intertextuality carried out in this paper begins with a survey of the various ways in which the subject appears before the introduction of this term. This article presents a whole picture of Intertextuality, its origin, limitation and development in Arabic literature and languages. The research methodology applied in this article is descriptive and analytical.
