The quotation and implication of religious texts in the writings of Muhammad al-Hasani al-Nadawi

Abstract

This research is a study of the phenomenon of citation and inclusion of religious texts in the writings of Muhammad al-Hasani al-Nadawi. Whoever reads the writer's writings realizes the richness of these two phenomena in his writings. Therefore, this research came to mention different patterns of quotation and inclusion in his writings, by examining the following axes: Quoting from the Holy Qur’an and the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (S.W.A). Inclusion He distributed in his writings between the inclusion of the hadiths of the Prophet and the inclusion of religious texts. This research indicates that Muhammad al-Hasani al-Nadawi's relationship with Islamic literature was close, as he wrote various texts according to the Qur'an and Hadith.
