The Holy Quran is a basic source of the Arabic language, in the way that it distinguishes and pinpoints the exactitude of the amplitude of implications of the Arabic word, which highlights it as a purely linguistics’ text in addition to its being the words of Allah. Eventually it appears as a vigorous, versatile, rich in meanings, and away from all sort of falsehood. The Holy Quran presented to the Arabic language a linguistic lexical wealth, creativity appears in its phonological, morphological, grammatical, semantic and stylistic use, which creates rhythmic harmony, and harmony when the word replaces another (as an active form) instead of (an object form), and when the semantics of word moves from an original meaning to metaphor The word addresses minds through the true meaning stored in the speaker's and addressee's memory, and through what contextual awareness does in determining the exact meaning, and erases error from minds.
2024-01-23T14:56:13+00:00 Yusra Ahmad Abdel Hafez Al-Tarakih ysraa.ahmad@gmail.com
The glorious Islamic history is filled with manuscripts are considered tremendous asset and a valuable source of Islamic knowledge. In the informal letters, people usually use a straightforward way to speak their hearts and mind. That is why, they stand a unique position in the human creative literature. We know that the age of Abbasid period was a golden age, not only in terms of its scientific and empirical progress, but in terms of eloquence of Arabic language, too, both in prose and poetry; and it has enjoyed the intense scholarly studies over the centuries. But we notice that an area of Abbasid literature is not fully explored, that is, the informal letters, written by the writers, ministers, and caliphs for their personal reasons, not related to the formal matters. The reason for selecting these Al-Ekhwania epistles (the informal letters) is the availability of prosaic and poetic texts, which were written in the period covered by the intended study. It has its own literary merits, as well as, historical importance. These letters need to be studied with different aspects and angles to draw important conclusions for the sake of Arabic literature. This article has been divided to a preface, funoon bayaniah (tashbeeh, istiaarah and kinayah) and conclusions.
2024-01-23T14:42:25+00:00 Hafiz Fazal e Haq Haqqani fazlehaq498@gmail.com Hafiz Moazzum Shah smoazzum@gmail.com
The Holy Prophet (PBUH) has been sent by Allah to guide the humanity towards the right path.In order to establish the prophet hood of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), various miracles have been awarded to him- according to the prerequisite of the time. All these marvels have been discussed in numerous Ḥadīth and traditions of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The present research work aims to establish the genuineness of such traditions through well settled rules of authenticity, prescribed by the classical Muslim jurists and experts of Ḥadīth sciences. In this connection, the evidences regarding the authenticity have been collected from the renowned books of authenticity. The current work also discusses the guidance and advices that can be found in such miracles of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), predominantly for the young generation. The findings show that Ḥadīth, narrating the miracles, are very much authentic in nature and, therefore, can be effectively used for the preaching of the religion of Islam.
2024-01-23T14:47:11+00:00 Muhammad Shehran m.shahran85@gmail.com
Environmental pollution is currently considered by experts to be the biggest problem in the world. According to him, the real threat to the survival of the planet and human beings is due to environmental pollution. In this context, all countries are making efforts at their respective levels to address this issue. Although Pakistan is not one of the top polluters, it is one of the five countries that will be most affected, and will face challenges of health and climate change, including the economy, in the years to come. On the one hand, it is a fact that we, as Muslims, are guided by the steps that need to be taken to solve the problem of environmental pollution. The following article tries to understand this issue in the light of Sira Tayyaba.
2023-12-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 AL- ASAR Islamic Research Journal https://alasr.com.pk/ojs3308/index.php/alasar/article/view/259 Origin and Development of Fiqh literature in Indian Subcontinent 2024-01-23T15:04:07+00:00 Dr. Kafait Ullah Hamdani kuhamdani@numl.edu.pk Dr. Hafiz Haris Saleem drharissaleem@gmail.com
Fiqh was one of the most important subjects of Islamic learning during Muslim rule in India which is generally known as Medieval India. The Ulama of this period took special interest in this subject as most of them who came from different parts of Central Asia were jurists. Secondly, learning of Fiqh was considered important for seeking nearness of sultan or getting some administrative posts. So it formed a popular branch of learning for teaching as well as writing books. On the other hand, the rulers of that period especially the early Sultans showed interest in the promotion of this science either under the influence of the Ulama of their court or due to administration requirement. They patronized and encouraged particularly those Ulama who contributed to Islamic jurisprudence through teaching and writing. The Madaris or institution of Islamic learning came to be established under the state's patronage from the very early period of the Muslim rule in India and their number continued to increase with expansion of the Muslim rule. Islamic jurisprudence formed essential part of the curriculum of Madaris of those days India. The present work is an analytical study of the Arabic flqh literature produced in India. It is a humble attempt to provide necessary information about the Arabic fiqii works written by the Indian Ulama. It gives an insight into the development of fiqh literature through different periods of Muslim rule in India (Sultanate and Mughal period.)
2023-12-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 AL- ASAR Islamic Research Journal
