Islamic jurisprudence is the essence of the Qur'an and Sunnah, while the field of fatwa is a more difficult and delicate matter than general jurisprudence. From the time of the Companions to the present day, the epidemic has always been going on. In modern times, like other areas of life, there has been innovation in this sector as well. In the subcontinent, a lot of good work on fatwa has been done in the past and is being done in the present. There are three major jurisprudential schools of thought in the subcontinent. They have a large number of followers who are called Deobandi Barelvis and Ahl al-Hadith. Those who act according to the fatwa of their mufties. To meet the demands of the modern era, not only fatwas are available in the form of books, but also online dar al-ifta are coming into being very fast. In which there is a complete provision of fatwa. There is a complete system of libraries. Where fatwas are given after regular collective ijtihad and deliberation after the confirmation signature of several muftis.
