The insight of Da,awah & preaching in the prophetic teaching

Abstract

Preaching the teachings of any religion plays a major role in its propagation. Islam is also a divine religion that has come to guide human beings. Its teachings are eternal and contains complete guidance for human beings. The command to preach is found in the Holy Qur'an itself. Rather, its principles have also been set. The Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also stated its rules in various hadeeths۔ In fact, his whole life is embodiment and full of preaching. The Companions continued to fulfill this duty with full force, restraint and punctuality in their respective eras. The fruit of their hard working and sacrifices resulted that in a very short time Islam has reached the East and the West. This present paper reviews the sacrifices that has been done for preaching over a period of one and a half thousand years. Due to which Islam is spreading rapidly all over the world.
