When Islam spread, it entered the sub-continent as well. Like other regions, there were no personalities to promote Islam, but here Islam reached through one of the events. Those who accepted Islam, accepted it wholeheartedly. With the passage of time, Islam They got personalities and Islam became popular. Sufis played an important role in these personalities.
The Sufis were the practical and theoretical people of the subcontinent, who themselves were characterized by knowledge and practice and they worked regularly to spread it.
On the one hand, they established their monasteries and schools as anchors, and on the other hand, they provided financial support to the graduates of these schools and sent them to settle in different areas. Every Sufi taught the Da'wah of religion to the rulers and made them do religious work. With the supervision and cooperation of the government, many non-Muslims also became Muslims.
The concern of the Sufis was that due to the establishment of religion, evils continued to end in society. Due to the reduction of personal evils, social and collective evils died. Even sometimes non-Muslims expressed fear that their territories would now be conquered.
