Abstract

Educators are the backbone in the development of any state and nation. Teachers are among the educated classes of the nation. The duties of teachers include nation building, character building, self-purification, preparation for leadership, educating students with high ideals, right and wrong, legal, and illegal, halal and haram. Due to these important responsibilities, the teacher has been given the status of spiritual father. It is said that teachers are the guardians of the nation because it is up to them to groom the future generations and make them capable of serving the country. The highest grade of labor and the most valuable of all labors is that of the country's teachers. The duty of a teacher is more difficult and important than all other duties, because the key to all kinds of moral, social, and spiritual good is in his hands and the source of all kinds of progress is his hard work. Brings life out of darkness and makes it the ambassador of futures, tells the difference between good and bad and turns the darkness of the heart into light. Therefore, if merit is violated in the appointment of teachers, the results will not be what is expected from an excellent and competent teacher. In the developed countries of the world, great care is taken in the appointment of teachers. Rasulullah (PBUH) has neither given any position to an incompetent person nor has he sent them anywhere as a teacher. You have shown great seriousness in the matter of teachers. It is the responsibility of the state to take into consideration the methods and principles of the Prophet ﷺ in the appointment of teachers. Therefore, in this article, the principles and procedures of the appointment and selection of teachers have been described in the light of the Prophet's life.
