The Semantic Opulence of Word in the Text of Quran

Abstract

This research demonstrates the semantic capacity of word in the text of Quran, and explains how a word holds the primary and secondary connotations, especially in understanding the social paradigm of the word, and shows the relevance of the word to the environment and the context. The Holy Quran is a basic source of the Arabic language, in the way that it distinguishes and pinpoints the exactitude of the amplitude of implications of the Arabic word, which highlights it as a purely linguistics’ text in addition to its being the words of Allah. Eventually it appears as a vigorous, versatile, rich in meanings, and away from all sort of falsehood.The Holy Quran presented to the Arabic language a linguistic lexical wealth, creativity appears in its phonological, morphological, grammatical, semantic and stylistic use, which creates rhythmic harmony, and harmony when the word replaces another (as an active form) instead of (an object form), and when the semantics of word moves from an original meaning to metaphor The word addresses minds through the true meaning stored in the speaker's and addressee's memory, and through what contextual awareness does in determining the exact meaning, and erases error from minds.
