The Approach of Muhadithin to Al-Isbahani’s Book Al-Aghani and its influence: an analytical study

Abstract

Abu al-Faraj AlAsbahani one of the great writers of Arabic literature who wrote a book named the songs, in the era of Buyids, an era in which literary and scientific life flourished while political life was disrupted. He wrote this book on the desire of Al-Hassan bin Muhammad Al-Muhallabi Nadima and he spent almost fifty years in writing this book. This book contains everything from songs, melodies, language, stories and anecdotes to news, biographies and poems. It is about the days of the Arabs in pre-Islamic times and Islam and it is truly a treasure of Arab literature. This research will discuss the way adopted by the narrators and that style is seen visibly in the Songs written by Asbahani.
