The various issues on environment have been discussed, whether the importance, destruction, or ways to prevent the destruction of the environment. Thee paper explore the issue from the conventional viewpoint as well as from the Islamic perspective; Destruction of the environment in recent times has worsened due to the uncontrolled exploitation of natural resources by human beings in order to generate profits. In view of the increasing technological development, Allah said ‘’He created man, / teaching him the [coherent] speech. / The sun and the moon follow a reckoning, / and the grass and the trees prostrate. / And He has raised the heaven and set up the balance, / [declaring] that you should not contravene with regard to the balance. / And observe the measure with justice and do not skimp the balance. / And the earth, He placed it for [all] creatures. / In it are fruits and date-palms with sheaths, / and grain with husk, and fragrant herb. / So which of your Lord’s favours will you deny? (Al-Rahman, 55:3-13) "the paper introduces the subject of Islam and the Environment through three areas, First, it discusses the Quran view of the environment, as stated in this verses, the Holy Qur’an speaks of how Allah created the environment with Truth, and how everything in the environment is His sign and praises Him. Qur’an shows the inherent value of creatures and of life, and how each creature in nature must be respected and cherished by human beings as their fellow beings, Secondly the paper elaborated the creation of Human being and Jinn, Allah created man as His vicegerent (khalīfa) on earth, making the earth a dwelling place for man, and ensured that man’s needs could be provided by the earth. Thirdly and finally it discuss on the paradise after date, Allah the almighty said: “But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens”.
