Orientalists Approaches Regarding Prophetic Miracles and its Response by Seerah Writers in Sub-Continent

Abstract

The Prophet's miracles have always been discussed by the Scholars, Philosophers, intellectuals and Orientalists in every age.The Seerah writers also presented many outstanding and comprehensive books on its different aspects. Various viewpoints based in interpretation comprehension and denial of miracles have broadened the study of this subject.Orientalist in general refuted miracles by claiming that these tradition are week, invalid and irrational aswell. They consider some famous miracles as normal events on the basis of rational interpretation. Prominent Muslim scholars and Seerah writers of the Sub-continent have also presented their views logically by supporting historical argumentation and most of them criticized the Orientalists approach and approved their authenticity and validity on rational and scientific ground.

This article elaborates the Orientalists views regarding the issues and highlight the critical and contribution of the Contemporary Muslim Seerah writers of Sub-continent.
