A Research Review of The Writings of Muhammad Mateen Khalid in context of Aqeedah Khatam-e-Nubuwat

Abstract

End of prophethood is considered as a basic tenet and belief of Islam. Prophets and messengers have been sent to guide people in different period and time. The series of Prophets started with Adam (pbuh) and the holy Prophet Muhammadﷺ is the one who completes the chain of Prophet hood. This fact has been proved from Quran and sunnah . Now there is a consensus of the ummah on the  apostasy of anyone who claims to be a prophet. The Muslim ummah in every age has paid great attention to the protection of this belief and resolutely resisted any misinterpretation in its protection. The great leaders of ummah has compiled many books in defense of this belief in order to protect the ummah from intellectual and practical misguidance. Thus, in this day and age ,the active researcher and writer in this field is Muhammad Mateen khalid who has written many prominent works on this subject. His work helps in understanding the importance of protecting the end of prophecy and also the in-depth study of  the origin and evolution of Qadianism which is also known in this age the denial of the end of  prophethood. This article will review his writings.
