Abstract

The principles of jurisprudence were used even before Imam Shafi. The jurists would argue, keeping in mind the principles when necessary, but they did not have a comprehensive law to identify the Shariah arguments. From which he would get acquainted with the Shariah arguments and would refer to these principles in case of conflict or preference. The law began to turn to the general.

Imam Shafi wrote the knowledge of the principles of jurisprudence with the help of which it became easy to know the level of Shariah arguments and when necessary the jurists started referring to this general law. In this article these methods and rules and regulations should be discussed. With the help of which these issues became known, that is, the basis of the issues will be discussed, In other words, it can be said that the Shariah arguments from which we deduce the injunctions will be seen in the light of these arguments to understand how this issue is understood. Since the issues are related to jurisprudence, so are those rules. There will be jurisprudence and the principles and rules that are related to jurisprudence are called principles of jurisprudence. To understand the principles of jurisprudence, it can be defined as the set of principles and rules on the basis of which the rules is derived.
